Summer Resort
In the summer Les Coches provides a wide range of activities including white water rafting, parapenting, tennis, VTT mountain biking, canyoning, walking, rock climbing, and glacier skiing, or slightly less pacy – lying by the pool, eating, painting, sculpture, and kids clubs.
Ski Les Coches Montchavin
A luxury apartment on the third floor sleeping 5-7 people in spacious accommodation (54 m2). One double and one triple bedroom, bathroom, separate shower room, separate toilet, fully fitted kitchen, dining area, comfortable sitting room, and double balcony. Generous storage space throughout, TV, DVD, and games.
The apartment has fantastic panoramic views of Mont Blanc. Ski to and from the door. Les Coches is snow sure at 1450m.
Les Coches is a small quiet village with local butcher, patisserie, supermarket, 3 ski schools, 2 bars, and several restaurants. It is part of the La Plagne ski area and linked by the Vanoise Express cable car to Les Arcs. Nearby Montchavin has further facilities and the local late night club/disco.
La Plagne has a vast amount of snow sure skiing with wide blues, challenging reds and blacks, and there is extensive off-piste particularly down from BellecĂ´te and Roche de Mio to Les Coches. Les Coches’ north facing slopes are very picturesque and provide lovely sheltered skiing on fairly easy tree lined runs that can be useful in snowy weather. Pistes are well maintained and there is extensive snow making. Les Arcs provides south facing skiing and additional expert challenges, plus the flying kilometre. There are several snow parks and boarder cross circuits in both La Plagne and Les Arcs. The Olympic bobsleigh run is also nearby.
